About Dr. Shubham Vasudeva
Consultant Neurosurgeon | Brain, Spine & Neurovascular Care
Dr. Shubham Vasudeva began his medical journey with MBBS from JNMC, Belgaum, followed by M.S. in General Surgery from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana. His interest in surgical disorders of the nervous system led him to pursue M.Ch. Neurosurgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, completed in November 2025. This progression from general surgery to specialized neurosurgical training has given him a strong foundation in the assessment and surgical management of brain and spine conditions.
His practice is centered around general neurosurgery, with experience in managing brain tumors, head and spine injuries, intracranial hemorrhage, spinal disorders, vascular conditions, and neurosurgical emergencies. Alongside routine brain and spine surgery, he has developed a special interest in neurovascular and neuro-endovascular interventions. His training also includes exposure to minimally invasive techniques, neuroendoscopy, skull-base surgery, and complex cranial and spinal procedures.
Currently associated with the Department of Neurosurgery at Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, Dr. Shubham believes that treatment should begin with understanding the patient and the condition thoroughly
He places emphasis on careful evaluation, clear explanations, appropriate treatment choices, and thoughtful surgical planning when an operation is required. His aim is to provide practical, evidence-based neurosurgical treatment while keeping patients and their families informed throughout the course of treatment.
